I don’t know what was up with me on this night. I found myself in the grips of cynicism, which can sometimes be entertaining I suppose, except I didn’t really have anything to say. I’d spent the weekend out in the woods, and was loathe to go back to work, so I guess that was….something. Anyway, sorry. Ignore me. B’s thoughts about how Obama’s racial background helped make his intellectuality a non-issue have stuck with me since we had this conversation, so I suppose there’s something interesting for listeners to ponder.
