ROX #96: Life & Death on the ROX

B: I promised some fans I'd post an update about ROX #96, so here goes. This one seems to have stalled out indefinitely in post-production. I feel pretty bad about it. We shot all the necessary video over a year ago. I was all set to edit, but kept running into technical problems. It wasn't just one problem, but like three different problems, all of which combined to really take the wind out of my sails. My daughter had just been born, and when I didn't get the technical issues resolved right away, time started slipping away. B: After an absurd interval, those pesky technical problems have been resolved and I think I'll soon be making headway on ROX #96. Be advised, however, that “soon” is a relative term. We started work on this episode about two and a half years ago...

B: After years of delays and difficulties and distractions, ROX #96, “Life & Death on the ROX,” is complete.

As the title suggests, there is a double dynamic at work here, which is very much a part of the reason this episode took so long.

Just as we were putting the finishing touches on our previous episode, ROX #95, we got word that our friend and collaborator Helen Hill had been murdered in her home.

The reverberations of that tragedy were many and profound. We knew that our next episode would have to account for Helen's death in some way.
