XY's grandma didn't like it, but you might. This is the salsa XY entered in the Bloomingfood's contest in ROX #63, "A Day in the Life."
6-8 big cans of whole tomatoes 2 small cans diced green chiles 1 bunch cilantro 2-3 bunches green onion, chopped fine 4-5 cloves garlic jalapeno salt pepper
In a blender, liquefy cilantro, garlic and a bit of the jalapeno. Next, use the blender to chop the tomatoes into small chunks -- but not too small; XY says this is the hardest part. Then mix all the ingredients together in a big bowl and serve with chips. Makes plenty.
