Unfortunately, we got it wrong. The famous quote is, “In the future everyone will be famous for fifteen minutes.” We inadventently reduced that to a mere “Fifteen Seconds of Fame.” Yet, somehow, that seems appropriate to the ever-accelerating pace of life in the information age.
