I sent a letter to the good folks at Free Speech TV last week, which contained the following:
Back in the mid-1990s, we licensed quite a few episodes of our underground television series, ROX, to Free Speech Television. We were told that it was one of the more popular shows on FSTV. However, we stopped producing the show for a while as we tried to get our lives in order.
A few years ago, a woman named Linda Iggi contacted us on behalf of FSTV. When she learned that we were getting back into production, she asked if we would be interested in airing new episodes of ROX on FSTV. We were very interested, but getting back into the swing of things took longer than we'd thought. Now we understand Linda is no longer there, but we hope that FSTV might still be interested in ROX.
Enclosed please find a DVD of our most recent work. It is our 90th episode and it is about body fat, body image, the Atkins diet, and Fat Tuesday. You will note that ROX is not straight-ahead political programming, but it has (we hope) a spine of politically-charged content.
Please let us know if you are interested in ROX. We are only distributing via the Web right now, but we are hoping through a venue like FSTV to get the program out to a wider audience.
Now we're just waiting to hear what they say.
